My name is Nadine Behjet and I am the founder of Arab Language Interpretation in Medicine (ALIM). ALIM (عليم) in Arabic means "knowledgable" or "scholar." I will be collaborating with my father, a retired internal medicine physician, to provide free, informal preparatory Arabic/English translation via Zoom for those with future scheduled doctor visits. My hope is to provide guidance in facilitating doctor visits resulting in more streamlined care.
